    So glad I made it
My first Winterland Grateful Dead show. My buddy Brother Wynn could not take the crowd and headed back to the house at 1447 47th Avenue before the show ended.(its a rain man thing) I stayed for the complete show and then made my way back to the Sunset District. Something about Weather Report Suite that could sound classical and psychedelic at the same time. I was probably 10-15 feet from the stage. My last Dead show as a teenager. A few weeks later on my 20th birthday at the end of March I went to my second Powwow ever at the Oakland Auditorium. Little did I know that years later I would be seeing the Dead there on a regular basis. But there was never anything "regular" about Grateful Dead concerts, perhaps just the cast of character regulars. Yes please, release this concert as an official in the future. As the kids say anymore, Peace Out.

Forty years of being a DEAD HEAD
This show was way to good. I really enjoyed Winterland Arena. The DEAD HEADS were high on energy and other things, Wwwwwwwwwwwwwoooooooowwwwwwwww. To much ACID. I'm glad they post the Set List. The Other and Eyes of the World,Traditional. What great times. Phil and his Bass would rock the ceiling, it world sometime start to flake off. I thought it was snowing at one time. No one who ever went to a DEAD concert was ever the same again, What do you think? The Next day a got a ship and Left California. I was now 21 years young. Truck'n
