    First in 16 years

That Black Throated Wind from 3-16-90 had some new updated verses or unheard original lyrics.
    Very cool.
And everybody is on fire in that Bird Song!

Week of November 22-28, 2021

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1985, 1990, and 1993, three mighty fine first sets.

Our first selection is from 11/2/85 in Richmond, VA, the night after the show that became Dick’s Picks Vol. 21, with the first set featuring Bertha ; Greatest Story Ever Told ; Dupree's Diamond Blues ; C C Rider ; Althea ; My Brother Esau ; Candyman ; Let It Grow.

Next is the first set from 3/16/90 at the Capital Center in Landover, MD, featuring the first Black-Throated Wind in 16 years in this great first set: Let The Good Times Roll ; Touch Of Grey ; New Minglewood Blues ; Peggy-O ; Queen Jane Approximately ; Loser ; Black Throated Wind ; Bird Song ; Blow Away.

Lastly this week is the first set from opening night of a three night run at Rosemont Horizon on 3/9/93, featuring Here Comes Sunshine ; Wang Dang Doodle ; Loose Lucy ; Me And My Uncle > Mexicali Blues ; Broken Arrow ; Row Jimmy ; Eternity ; Liberty.

Be sure to come back next week for more music from the vault.
