The Duane & Greg Allman, Peter Green cameos immediately following these 5 songs. They do Dark Star>Spanish Jam>Lovelight with them. Hmm... since Dave is looking at this... well we can dream, can't we.

We have the start of the show - the whole of the first set - not the end.

Week of November 7-13, 2022

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1970, 1973, and 1989, three very fine years in Dead history.

Our first stop this week is from opening night of the Dead’s famous February 1970 run at the Fillmore East on 2/11/70, where we have Not Fade Away, Cumberland Blues, Cold Rain & Snow, High Time, Me & My Uncle.

Next is a good portion of the Dead’s second set jam from 2/19/73 in Chicago on the short but very sweet winter tour of the Midwest, where we have He's Gone > Truckin' > The Other One.

Lastly this week is the end of the show from 2/6/89 at the Kaiser in Oakland, where we have Space > The Other One > Stella Blue > Turn On Your Lovelight, Black Muddy River.

Be sure to stop in next week for more music from the vault.
