Many reasons why this was a quick find. But that's alright with me!
So beautiful... the tinkling of those keys, the dancing on the strings, the tripping along with it all! Now I think I'll just listen as I drift off into dreaming. Sweet dreams y'all.

feel like a real fool for missing that one. was a few stops away but ran plum out of time. nothing like a nice 30 minute roustabout to make a quick rebound with.

yeah if you comment before picking you gotta make your way back to the 30 days page to get the submission form

A magnificent recording of what in my opinion is quintessential Grateful Dead. This entire run of shows deserve a deep dive. Be Well You All

A gorgeous chunk of music indeed! This is one of those rarest of days when I actually recognize the jam from having heard it before somewhere (probably here, hunting lol). Particularly the jam after Saint.

Terrapin joined up with Sailor just makes so much sense to me, but it happened seldomly.

That post Saint segment is where I could find the clues as well. The fusion-like keys notes sprinkled in there. Anyone try out the show opener from yesterday's show date? Musical chairs, no Foolin'.

Digging that tiny "Other One" jam from Brent early in the "Terrapin." Now this is a selection I can sink my teeth into. ;)

They got me again yesterday, even though I found it. Step carefully

Today, I was able to get it before heading to work. That will give me time to listen to the show!!!

Got this one by just looking at it. Confirmed it with the familiar strains coming out of Saint.

The show is quite a Gem too...ENERGETIC!!

OK, getting in the groove now and counting today I'll go 3 and 2. Stupid mistakes I make every year and a slow learner I guess. Spent half of yesterday's two hour hunt in the wrong era from not listening all the way through before starting the search. Doh!
Nice to have a slow pitch softball to hit today. I've got stuff to do and an election win to celebrate. Locally we successfully recalled an idiot county commissioner. Power to the people!
Cheers

Found that opening lick for 4-1-1980 Candyman! Not too many possibilities for today. so much twinkling magical sparkle. Grateful for the longer track today!

Looked for about a 1/2 hour before work, then another 15 minutes at work when I realized I screwed it up. Then it took me longer to connect my AirPods to my stupid Windows computer at work than it did to find the answer. First try, once I refined my search. Almost got venued again as well.

Nice to have the rest of this one! Sometimes that's a sign that it could be a future pick.

I lucked out yesterday and got the Candyman on the first try. I've always loved this show especially with the April Fools Promised Land. Five years ago Dave gave us a FOTD from this show and I nailed it but put the venue as being the Capitol Theatre in Portchester, since most all of the files on Relisten listed as such. I made sure to double and triple check this time.

A salute to everyone who exercised their right to vote yesterday, and also to today's selection; an incredible sequence of the absolute crème de la crème of the late 70's Dead repertoire; the concluding jam from a Terrapin Station album favorite was the giveaway for ths one.

This sequence is of a much rarer occurrence than I realized!

even though Dave's Picks 56 just landed iin my mailbox today, I listened to all of this show, once I found it, instead.

You might be spoiling us too much Lemieux. 2 days running you've given up what have become for me new favorite versions of these familiar tunes. Certainly not complaining, and maybe I'm just goin' on a feelin' here, but it begs the question: How can you possibly top these gems with 25 days of November still to come? I can't wait to find out, but in the meantime I'll just hit the replay button and smile, smile, smile.

You’re killing me Smallz. Tonight you crossed the line with your hint.
That will not forsake you, if you please stop given the Days away.
Still fun Driftin' and dreamin' tonight.
It's a certain sort of sound that moves me brightly, must be heaven, definitely close enough to pretend.

Didn't expect such melts from simply typing the 3 main characters of today's songs in the subject line of a comment. If that was a clue for anybody, well, I guess you already knew the answer :)

Loud as possible in my headphones ... and I hit the submit button... Ouch... silence.

The sound and mix on this cut is extraordinary. Phil Lesh...fantastic.

That was a good one! Little beknownst to me, I have the Charlie Miller 2005 mix in my FLAC collection. This definitely requires a revisit.
