Speak with wisdom like a child, love that lyric!
Definitely sick of all the politicians throwing stones.
Almost time to turn the page to Day 27 and the day we give Thanks.
I am most certainly Thankful for the Grateful Dead.
I don’t encourage biting the hand that bakes your bread tomorrow.

But that hunt was fast today. Very nice show. Another era which is a favorite-o-mine. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am truly blessed, hope you are as well.

Well clearly we need the video of this show, wow.
Surprised these two numbers were not played together more often, lyrically they jive.
I truly feel blessed to have been a tour head, made it out alive and kept so many amazing memories. Well wishes to all of you and your family on this T-Day evening. Be Well You All.

You all remind me how quickly these days fly by. Lined up the show but realized one of this year's themes for me is double check my searching resources.

Those were good days at a great venue with lots of room in front of the venue to let us all run and play with massive drum circles after the show!

I thought for sure when I found 5-18-77 that it could not be right because it had been an official release. Wrong! All the dates around it have been (and most of that month) but it turns out I have a good tape I was remembering. Went with it anyway as it matched perfectly thinking it was a Dave trick. Still it only took about ten listens. My favorite so far this month.
Cheers

i also had to double check my collection to make sure it was not released. One of the few shows that month which was not.

At 26/30 Days of Dead, I am Grateful that you share these tunes, for all the Head’s friendly banter in this forum, and as always for the Dead lighting the songs, holding away despair!

I have to say this has been an excellent year of 30DoD tracks. There have been a few tape cuts, some loud sounds that blew the levels, and of course plenty of forgotten/blown lyrics. But this year has been consistently top-notch stuff, which I will be very glad to listen to again and again. Thanks Dead.net, DaveL, and of course that amazing band!

Appropriate pairing for the times. Interesting mis-label on some of the files from this show. Not that it threw anyone off. But I had to check just to make sure.

I loved this show, and I forgot how beautifully they transitioned from Throwing Stones into Foolish Heart

Ya know, I never realized how perfect of a pairing these two songs were. Shame it wasn't coupled more often, the lyrical motif and melodies are very much in the same vibe.

Sometimes Foolish Heart could really be the gem of a show. Great transition here. Yeah.. hahah... I saw those mis-labelings too! Now.. that would be a strange segue/transition. Quite the EZ answers year this time around. Good listens. 26/26.

I agree with the "rare pairing" hint. Hardly a conventional pairing and there's something timely with respect to the subject matter these two songs bring to my mind nowadays.

The transition from one into the other was pretty seamless as well. It surprises me that they didn't pair them more often. But enough about my feelings. What did YOU think?

More like licking boots, with the news today from Georgia - just find me 11,780 votes -ha! (whaddaya think Dave, can you do that for me?). The "king of clowns" once again cows the commissars and pinstripes, guess who gets to pay the price? Right with you there Opeelipsky, sick of it all.
Solace: the encore from this show. Sweet.
"History's page will be neatly carved in stone. The future's here, we are it, we are on our own" So true. Thankfully we have the Dead organization, Dave still serving treats, the timeless music, and this wonderful, caring, peace-loving community that continues to dance and shake our bones. Wishing all a bountiful, sharing, peaceful Thanksgiving.

I was lucky to hear this several times, took me a few to appreciate it. Throwing stones cool. Was looking at so many we see little of west la fadeaway, where Jerry always got lost, cold rain, broke down, gdtrfb, wheel, and more. Still I appreciate all u guys thanks Dave. Happy Turkeys to all. Qman

Been here since day one. Have seen most of it on the DoD ... the EAC jam, Pyramid soundcheck, San Rafael studio outtake, Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Arena Stadium wrangling, etc, etc.... So fun. So thankful. Can't believe how smart they were to record all the shows. The selections this year have been great. And I love reading through everyone's comments. Thank you so much Dave and Co for keeping it alive.
