Thanks for this offering. It sounds like a good batch, Pig 's behaviour intriguing; don't think I've ever heard this 9-19-70 show. If Tommo is sorted, guess I'm able to jump in at #1. 1. Greg Macfarlane 2. 3.

ENTER THE MATRIX VINE Vol 1. Synchronise a soundboard recording with one or more good audience recordings of the same show and you get a matrix. Some very deadicated and clever people have ‘matrixed’ quite a range of stand-out shows; here are 5 from across the years that I have recently sampled, combining top quality sound with atmosphere like you were there. All that and 3 Dark Stars, 2 St Stephens and 2 Terrapins! 1 DVD with all FLAC files. Would unpack to 12 CDs Sept 19 1970. Fillmore East. (gd1970-09-19.mtx.chappell.31510.sbeok.flac16) Most of set 2. Absolutely mind-blowing show and recording. Great Dark Star and a Lovelight with Pigpen totally outrageous. 1 CD. Dark Star >St. Stephen >NFA>Darkness Jam > China Cat Jam > NFA-> Lovelight>Crowd noise > Youngbloods: Get Together>Phil and Pigpen speak ->Youngbloods: Get Together -> Crowd noise. Sept 16 1972. Boston Music Hall. (gd72-09-16.matrix.SB20.77442.flac) A partial show with good jams and a really authentic concert hall sound too (to my ears anyway). Just before PITB starts you can hear some dude in the crowd drawl ‘Yeeah, this is it’.Sure is! 2 CDs From Set 1 t12 Playin' In The Band. From Set 2. t01. Morning Dew t02 Greatest Story (t03,t04,t05) t06 Dark Star ->t07 Brokedown Palace (T08,T09) t10 NFA -> t11 GDTRFB -> t12 NFA June 30 1973. Universal Amphitheater, Universal City, CA (gd1973-06-30.matrix.SB9.29753.flac16). A good 73 show. 3CDs Set I:Promised Land. TLEO. Mexicali Blues. Tennessee Jed. LLR. Birdsong. Cumberland Blues. "don't panic folks...".Row Jimmy. Jack Straw. Deal. BIODTL. Black Peter. Playin' In The Band Set II: Greatest Story Ever Told. Ramble On Rose. El Paso. Dark Star -> Eyes Of The World -> Stella Blue. Sugar Magnolia. Encore: OMSN January 22 1978. Eugene Oregon. (gd78-01-22matrix.28846.flac16) I don’t know what was going on up there, but they just tear into it. There is no SBD for the second disc so it is (quite good quality) aud only. The rest is matrix and exceptional. 3CDs Set 1:Minglewood Blues. Dire Wolf. Cassidy. Peggy-O. El Paso. Tennessee Jed. Jack Straw. Row Jimmy. The Music Never Stopped. Set 2:Bertha ->Good Lovin'. Ship Of Fools. Samson and Delilah. Terrapin Station ->Drums -> The Other One -> Jerry Solo (Close Encounters) -> Saint Stephen -> Not Fade Away ->- Around & Around. Encore: U.S. Blues May 8 1981. Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale , NY. (gd81-05-08.mtx.seamons.92002.sbeok.flac) Great sound and a rocking show.(with Ken Kesey guesting on harmonica!) 3CDs Set 1:Tuning. Jack Straw. Peggy-O. Me And My Uncle -> Big River. Loser. C C Rider. Althea -> Let It Grow ->Don't Ease Me In Set 2:.Shakedown Street -> Samson And Delilah. My my ... the wurst thing so far, regarding the commercial mix of German and English, was a company's advertisment of backpacks as bodybags ... into the black. And aside the fact, Bob, that your burros are always welcome at my front door, simply because I like the way these mammals look and their definitely Stephen Segal way of "no way to make me do what you wanna make me do", if they don't want to. Not to mention that my muse sometimes refuses to kiss, but kicks like a mule, I might write something titled Burro Chainsaw Massacre. Maybe something else about snails, that make it from here to the cosmicbadger's french home in less than a week (in complete disregard of the speed limit he himself posted regarding snails. This vine got started in the USA by Ltapilot. Richard has sent a copy to me, so that DVD does not have to cross the pond two times. Probably burros have better things to do than to swim long distance twice. If you are interested, please check the content by clicking Forums/The Vineyard/Acid Test Vine. If you want to have it, write a new comment with Acid Tests Vine in the subject line, copy and paste the list on bottom of this post and send me a PM with your postal/mailing address. andré 1. richard 2. andré 3. 4. 5.

simply announces : I will be away from my place from April 4th. to probably 29th. I send this post to let everybody know about it. Just in case you are or have a tendency to become interested in one of them Vines Across The Waters. 'Cuz quite a lot of these have madly assembled at my place ... to find out which ones these are, please check this forum ... Simply let me know via PM, as soon as possible. Butt no later than April 2nd. and, as you know now, there is no need to worry, if I don't jump at any vines in the old world, nor leave other comments on dead.net during the period, mentioned above. I will reappear, keep on playing according the traders unwritten rulebook, as far as I know and understood what I know about it. andré ... still around for another/about 192 hours.

The good ol' CotMos! ("Conspiracy of the Mules ... or something !") On March 19th Bob sent me a PM, announcing that he is putting them panniers on (to the burros, I am sure). But the KFFM vine has not arrived at my Mule Stop yet. So outsidewichita you will have to wait, because I will be away for three weeks, before the post man will ring me again, tomorrow. Now as Bob's PM came in already two weeks ago, it seems to be the right time to get worried. Just a little. And just in case somebody is interested in getting worried :+) Fo Sho familiar with the old saying, regarding even slow burros usually getting the wholeworm thingdone, we could wait, until I will be back in my mailbox again. In case Bob will decide to send this vine again, before I will be back on track, consider me stepped back. So Bob can ask outsidewichita for his postal address, then send it there. And Have A Good Time ! All the time All the time All The Time. andré

Bob, please unfold this cryptical development : I signed in on the Nassau 1990 Eurovine, started by Cosmicbadger, who then posted that he will send it on Monday. Next comes your post. And because there is no name on top of it, I am not sure if you are talking to me or not. Probably you are not, because (as far as I know) CB has the Nassau 1990 Eurovine. You may know better, but I guess I know good. But as it is Monday already, this reply of mine might be too late. And it seems appropriate to apologise, if it turns out that I am responsible for them skinny spanish burros to have no break in Freiburg. And in case your post above says "Would you mind if the Burro train will stop by in Freiburg, while on it's way to Düsseldorf", well ... I would not mind them burros to stop in Freiburg and chop some fine Blackforest leaves, as long as they will arrive at my place before May 24th, because after that day my postal address will change. And for a few reasons, I will not tell the local post office my new one. andré
