    Jerry’s purple pants

Sadly, this is the show happened on the day after Rick Griffin laid his Harley down. Not knowing this at the time, thought, Jerry is wearing purple pants.

I heard someone amongst the crowd mention something about one of their close friends being in an accident. When looked at it in this light, this set list for this night and this run is a fitting tribute to this great man. Dark Star crashes … Am I the victim or the Crime … A dragon with matches is loose on the town … Truckin’ I’m goin’ home … Standing on the Moon but I’d rather be with you …

A very good but trippy show!We all nearly fell on our faces when they pulled out Dark Star in the first set!! And then opening the 2nd set with Scarlet>Victim>Fire?!?!? Who woulda thought...? Very unique show and well played...

Just posted a couple of photos from this show with some comments! Funny enough Neddles, my comments were exactly the same! How about that 1st set Dark Star! And for sure, the transition into the Victim from Scarlet was one of the most psychedelic moments I've ever had at a show. The were doing this trippy effect on Bobby's face on the screens as the Victim started taking over the jam and Bobby was really into it. It totally sent the crowd into a tripping frenz. That whole runs was sweet for me and was my highlight of Bruce's playing with the boys as well! Still remember his big owl eyes poppin up on the screen totally tuned into the music and sprinkling his sweet piano sounds over the Dead sundae. Much To Be Grateful For! Brother A

Amazing run...From the 1st set DS to the 2nd set opening Deal (18th) with the speakers blowing during Jerrry's explosive jam. (No I wasn'nt imaging it, I have the tapes...lol..) This was the best run in the 90s I saw!!
