    That really is something
LMA and eTree sources all start with Sugaree mbarilla: good find, eh? I've always enjoyed the Indy show from 10/1/76. I guess Jerry Moore didn't make it to Detroit!

    Nice combo 72 and 76
10-3-76 COBO is one of the best 2nd set jams in GD History. It seems Dave has the beginning of the show Bertha; Mama Tried. Most others start with Sugaree and this Sugaree is over 10 minutes. Others are around 6 min. Could be a returned Betty Board. Another Fox sequence. Both of these have official release written all over them. Fox Box and 10-3-76 for a Dave's picks or Black Friday record store day vinyl and CD release.

Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have music from 1972, 1976 and 994, three very different eras of Grateful Dead music.

Our first stop this week is the third night of a three night run in St. Louis in 1972, on 10/19/72, and from the second set of this show, we have the big jam featuring Truckin'>Drums>The Other One>He's Gone>The Other One.

From four years later on the Dead's second tour back after their hiatus, we have the entire first set of on my favorite shows from the tour, on 10/3/76 in Detroit: Bertha, Mama Tried, Sugaree, Minglewood Blues, Ramble On, Looks Like Rain, Loser, El Paso, Scarlet, Music.

Lastly this week, from 18 years later, we have the entire first set of the show on 10/5/94 in Philadelphia, including Bob on acoustic guitar for the Eternity: Jack Straw; Friend Of The Devil ; Wang Dang Doodle ; Jack-A-Roe; Queen Jane Approximately ; Lazy River Road ; Eternity>Deal.

Be sure to stop by next week for more tunes from the vault.

I clicked the 72 and the 94 started playing. Did this happen to anyone else? The 94 is much better than I thought it would be. I might not have listened to the 94 if it were not for this happening.

I agree with allman. I don't listen to much from 1994 and this selection struck me as better than expected for that time period. The reviews on archive are pretty favorable as well.

Seems to be working fine now. That 94 selection is worth checking out.
