I loved hearing this piece of music and didn't mind the rough edges at all.

Thanks David for the 10/1 feature. Bertha opener was a slower funky version as I recall.Certainly Indy was in my top 5 concerts that I was lucky enough to see!

Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1968, 1976, and 1985.

Our first stop is on 12/7/68 in Louisville, KY, one of the few later-1968 board tapes in the vault. This is from a cassette master, so the sound is a little rough, a little dull, but the music shines through: Dark Star>St. Stephen>The Eleven.

Next is music from the really interesting Fall Tour of 1976. After the triumphant return to the stage with the June-July 1976 theatre shows, plus the two August stadium shows, the Dead hit the road for 10 days on September 23 though October 3, with many great, exciting moments and shows. From 10/1/76 in Indianalpolis, we have first set music featuring Deal ; Cassidy ; Friend Of The Devil; Big River, Brown Eyed Women ,It's All Over Now , Scarlet Begonias, The Promised Land.

Lastly this week is the end of the show from 6/22/85 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin, a great place to see the Grateful Dead. From this show we have Space > Dear Mr. Fantasy > I Need A Miracle > Stella Blue > Throwing Stones > Not Fade Away Encore Brokedown Palace.

Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.

Maybe it is us, not just you?? Or, it could turn into a movement if it goes beyond us. Me thinks it not quite working yet. I tried both Internet Explorer, as well as Mozilla Firefox. No Luck. I went back to last week, which meanwhile, I will enjoy again. It's not like any of us have listen to the same thing more than once ;)

This is the Rosemary show. There might be additional performances of this song, but this could be the only live version, atleast to my knowledge.

I had the same problem. Then yesterday I copied and pasted these to WordPad which shows them as hyperlinks. I then clicked on each which opened them in my default browser. https://sos2208.akamaized.net/download/rhino/gdtapersflv/mar022015/68.m… https://sos2208.akamaized.net/download/rhino/gdtapersflv/mar022015/76.m… https://sos2208.akamaized.net/download/rhino/gdtapersflv/mar022015/85.m…

Hi Dave! How about some stuff from the Orpheum run in 76? Is it just my imagination or are there some real gems during that run? Box set?
