I made it to this one with wifey after driving in from the northeastern corner of Ohio. I was on the brink of leaving my lost cause of running my own business and about to move downstate - closer to "Jorma-land" and change the course of everything. A friend in Cleveland Heights got us tickets and talked us into going - a bright spot in an otherwise gloomy scene. This was part of the end of Northern Ohio for me. Good Show
One of the last good shows given the schlock of the late 80's and 90's.

My second show. I waved a mirror in Jerry's face from the third row all night long. I think he did Casey Jones for me that night. Jerry was wearing a Hawian shirt , I recall. "A man has a right to be as big as he feels it in him to be" KeyZ

Dosed by some friends. My friend that drove me to the show got freaked out by my tripping. When I got home I remember watching the trees breath. I just laid in my parents front yard and watched nature interact. What a night.

Drove from NYC to Cleveland to drop someone off who was starting school. Had time to kill sat outside the hall with the old indian stadium and the lake nearby. Brought a friends deck to tape the show. When I entered Public Hall security went through my things and began hassling me that no recording equipment was allowed. Dead security stepped in and overuled Hall security and welcomed me in. Enjoyed first set lazy lightnin supplication. Second set little red rooster was pleasant surprise. Far from me was an unpleasant surprise and the Uncle johns had vocal miscues but musically enjoyable. I recall feeling uneasy about the direction of post drums but really really enjoyed the song selection. Transition between comes a time and lost sailor was smooth. Dissapointed it wasn't done more than this one and a warfield show. The beginning of casey jones was one of those dead moments that is unexpected and keeps you coming back for more. JBG was the only time I recall Billy throwing drumsticks in the air during the song. He must have went through two dozen pairs.
