Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have music from three very fine Grateful Dead years, 1977, 1978 and 1979.
Our first stop is on 5/18/77 in Atlanta, on one of the greatest tours in the Grateful Dead's 30 year performing career. From this show, we have first music featuring New Minglewood Blues ; It Must Have Been The Roses ; Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication; High Time ; The Music Never Stopped.
From a year later on another excellent tour, we have music recorded on 5/13/78 at the Philadelphia Spectrum, featuring the start of the second set: Bertha > Good Lovin' ; Terrapin Station > Playing In The Band.
Our last stop this week is on 5/7/79 in Easton, PA, where we have music from the first set of Brent's fifth show as a member of the Grateful Dead, featuring Me And My Uncle> Big River ; Candyman ; Looks Like Rain.
Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
