Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have two selections from New Jersey, and one from Colorado, two states that are virtually identical in every way.

Our first stop this week is on the excellent comeback tour in June 1976, where have this excellent sequence of music from 6/18/76 at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ: The Music Never Stopped ; Sugaree, Mama Tried, Crazy Fingers , Big River ,Brown Eyed Women.

Next is the start of the second set from 6/14/84 at Red Rocks, where we have this great bit of playing: Shakedown Street>Playing In The Band>Dear Mr. Fantasy. The transition during the Playing jam into the first-ever Dear Mr. Fantasy is one of my favourite bits of music of the mid-1980s.

Next is the bulk of the first set from 6/16/91 at Giants Stadium, minus the first two songs: Little Red Rooster ; Candyman ; Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again ; Stagger Lee ; Let It Grow. This show is often overshadowed by the following night, but there was plenty of great music played on 6/16.

Be sure to join us next week for more music from the vault.

What is that recording? Not the regular SBD that I have.

6/16/91 and 6/17/91 were multi-track recorded. A mix-down to 2 track DAT's were made(like spring 90)I think that is the source used here.

Glad at least 10/12/84 is being released. 84 has a bunch of gooooooood shows. maybe they will get the official treatment someday. Looking forward to hearing that Augusta in polished form.
