    So good!
I just finished listening to this show. I wasn't there because I was in fourth grade at the time, and nobody thought to take me. Boo hoo! This is an amazing 1976 act of love!! I always wished I could have been to some of these 70s shows, but was lucky to have gotten on the bus when I did. First show March 10, 1981. Been on the bus ever since. Never got to see Donna and Keith, loved her in this, singing backup in the Wheel is a treat, and Dancin' in the Streets. Show was tight all around. Probably the best Big River I've ever heard. Also Help on the Way is beautiful! And Cosmic Charlie?! Never got to hear that live. I do remember the Cosmic Charlie Campaign. I would consider this to be a quintessential Dead show. The band was spot on. Always grateful! Amy

100 hells angels bikes/friends bikes on bway in front of beacon
we had seats in the loge - went down to see some friends in the orchestra - the fire exit door in the loge broke open - I saw a security guard crack his flashlight over the head of a fan as a about 100 people rushed in from the upstairs fire escape - and I said we're staying put here downstairs - the show was one of the most magnificent shows in my history as a dead fan -- Cold Rain was incredible and High Time, unbelievable -- the Dead were smart to come out quick once the mayhem began, to get the show going - won tix from the fan club with my picture postcard of my bedroom wall of my Skeletons in the Closet poster and Who Live at the Marquee poster - someone nicely picked it out of the bin - I was back from Cali only two weeks - and welcome to NYC - baby!

    My first
15 Years old and first show of hundreds more to come. Got tix w/ my cousin through deadheads list joined when we were 12. Drank a pitcher of beer each at Burger & Brew (fake ids) and off to the show. Had seats in the front loge and before the show the loge side fire exit was broken in and at least a hundred heads snuck in. 9th Grade math final the next day. Cold Rain, Help/slipknot/ franklins, and lazy lightnin' were highlights for me.

Still one of the best versions of High Time ever done. We almost missed the last bus back to Jersey.

Got excellent seats through the Fan Club. If I remember correctly there was almost a riot outside (might be the following night). Well anyway the Dead were never invited back to the Beacon.

I got my tickets from the grateful dead fan club that i joined from the address in the europe 72 record.they sent me 15th row seats for this show and 5th row for the capital theater two nights later.I bought a t-shirt outside before the show that i was told would be the cover of the new MARS HOTEL album that was coming out soon.its a cool shirt but it is not the MARS HOTEL cover.the show was great.i was very happy and blown away when they did row jimmy row..i also had tickets to the next night but not very good seats.and since i was seeing them the next night in N.J. i traded them for 160 dollars and two tai sticks.
