    Anniversary show 12/15/86 Oakland.

39 years ago I was up in Oakland for Garcia's 1st show back with the Dead, all I can say is you should have been there. Garcia kicked it off with Touch of Grey and the crowd just exploded! Like I say you had to be there. What a great birthday present.

With the latest Dave's pick, the Garden box and the ETR box, I had to revisit the 5-19-81 at Cornell from 30 trips. 1981 really had some grate life to it.

DiP 19 Disc 3 easily one of my all time freaking favorite slices of released archival GD. Pure magic. Mind Left Body

    Listening now.

OKC, 10/19/73. I kinda feel this gets forgotten about. Why, I have no idea.

the "review" in Compendium was less-than-complimentary

While it's not 8/27/72, it still has some good stuff.

Some of those compendium reviews were very off-target, written by some very cranky yutzes.

This is in line with all the Mickey & the hart beats gigs.
I know it’s Harvey and Jerry, unclear who else.
More than likely members of the Elvin bishop group.
I’m listening to the 36 min. Jam that goes into “Don’t Fight it”
Bad ass stuff…..Harvey is one of mt heroes !
This came in a box set of Harvey’s called the snake box !
