and what I was really interested in exploring, the 1971 recordings,
he says: "but one of Rex’s new jobs on the crew in January ‘71 and onward was recording. I’ve always looked at them as Rex and Betty recordings.
That goes really through all of 1971. By the fall tour though, it’s only Rex doing the recordings: all of that early Keith stuff in October and November, I don’t even know if Betty was on the road then.
Those were Rex recordings with… I don’t want to say Betty’s training,
I wasn’t there and don’t know how it went down.
But certainly, her sonic fingerprints are on those recordings."And so I wonder if the recordings of

I remember them well, although I never saw them. They were included in with the punk bands that made records starting in 1977. Musically, they were a bit different from other British punk bands as they had someone on organ and later synthesizer. More influenced by The Doors than Iggy and The Stooges. I also like the twangy guitar, which sounded a bit Ernio Morricone or surf like at times.
The biggest downside was that they wrote some of the most sexist and sexually violent lyrics it has ever been my misfortune to hear. They seemed to celebrate thuggishness. - bluecrowJoined:JoeyMC
I would post your Tiger Rose comments again. I think the take down was unintentional and not targeted at you. I remember that there was a wordy spam/bot post from a newly minted account right about then and it got taken down when I checked back in. My guess is that the ptb that police that sort of stuff inadvertently took down yours also. Been awhile but I've had it happen to me and if I remember correctly several of us lost posts once because they were sandwiched between 2 spam posts.
Not listening to anything at the "moment" - focusing on pizza and some cold beer after hot day in the field. The music will flow shortly. I could easily go Tuscaloosa but don't have it at hand. Edit - so its 5/26/77 Baltimore DaP 41 - its got a Jack-A-Roe and the whole release sounds amazing (as we all know).
Keep on enjoying the weekend everybody.
