Tail end of the feelin groovy jam from TOO has a very brief MLBJ echo followed by a Comes A Time premonition. Never caught those.

Show flies nicely under the Wembleys. Treetop flying like that.

Post show listening, 'New Threats from the Soul', Ryan Davis and Roadhouse Band.

Sierra Hull, Mark Schatz, and Brian Sutton several years ago on the "My Bluegrass Heart" tour. Fleck's musical line up were such a trip. And Michael Cleveland's fiddle playing was tremendous.

Michael is a blind fiddle player and has an assistant help him out on stage. Just like when Merle used to help his dad Doc Watson onto his spot on stage. I read somewhere that Doc had an 11 year old Michael Cleveland come backstage to meet him, once upon a time. Don't recall if they jammed but I like to think they did. RonMarley1 you are in for a treat! Michael Cleveland is such a virtuoso.

Listening to this awesome fiddle player. Came across him via BMFS. Got tix to seem him next month at The Kent Stage. "Four dead in O-Hi-O."
Edit: I've always referred to my golf course gig as my fun job. Colleagues used to ask me all the time why I did it.

What a Gem of a Boxset.

1st Show - I also got the root beer vinyl version of Tony Rice's Manzanita. I always liked Backwaters too. It's got that killer version of My Favorite Things.

My most of the time favorite show from the July 78 box. I had 7/8/78 back in the day, but 7/7 was revelation when the box arrived.

3/21/93 first set very nice, currently on China Cat, lil vocal flub but off to the races now…
    3/22/93 Schlater…

PF: though I really dug and liked most of the set list better from 3/14, 3/15 prolly is the overall better show? Not a bad run, wish I’d seen shows like this at the end. Still pissed I missed HCS and LSD!

Joey, 3/19 the end of that first set is really something eh!

No worries Ron, just making convo…you made me think of my old man who only made it a few months after retirement before he got a job at the neighborhood hardware store for something to do, but ended up working there for 13 years lol.
