got a mp3 version of view from the Vault 2. What a good show ! june 91 coul have been a box set with the 2 Giants. i wish one day we may download this one, and 18 19 20 sept at MSG., all of them cold have been a complete show, and the german 90 tour berlin Essen & Frankfurt were perfect for a rt serie. This 90 europe tour is underrated;

White unless you know his new one. Which is called Frozen Charlotte, for some reason. Might be his best solo record so far. For me this is his strongest set of songs since Blunderbuss, just as rocking' as No Name. Tight band, solid riffs, Jack's trademark sense of humor. Giddyup.

Also paid a visit to the Frost '85 DaP. Jerry does indeed sound like he's been gargling gravel, but his guitar is dazzling.

Yes, it was me! Excellent release with oustanding sound/mix for a live record. Enjoy man!

Last one from the Spring 1990 box. Good stuff, but wish they woulda used the multitracks like the did for the follow-up box. Although, not sure my sixty-year-old ears would know the difference.
Sitting outside for the first time in a week. Was brutally hot and humid, then we had the Canadian wildfire smoke for a couple days. They postponed the baseball game from last night because of the air quality, so we went to the make-up day game today.
Should be able to do some hiking tomorrow. It'll be nice to have some lows in the 60s (and maybe high 50s), in the AM next week.
Someone, Jonathan?, mentioned it earlier, so Ratdog: Live at Roseland is next in the queue.

This has long been a favorite 91 show. The Picasso that opens is a beast and the Sugaree is pretty stellar too...whole show cooks!

7/18/76 I really like this one. This whole run is pretty unique. It grew on me a little as I went through it. I listened to Dave's 18 a few times over.
I hope this box doesn't sell oot before I order one, sometimes 80's stuff doesn't go that fast. This one might though?

Went to this with the “20 year old” and crazy ass Howard.
Guy could eat ‘“chicklet’s and function like you’d have a coffee) and what a driver! Never worried with Cap’n Howard at the helm, under any circumstances.
Kinda Neal like, how he never got pulled over (he would often go really fast) that ole GD magic I suppose?
Not sure I really knew much about the Violent Fems? Just probably closed minded wrote them off, ya know, “punk is junk” etc That would change, and years later even played a cool version of Kiss Off in a sorta alt country Bluegrass type band, with electric Banjo etc
Man was it interesting watching them at a huge Dead show. Some of their lyrics being a, less than hippie love fest idealistic etc, some folks were freaking out a bit, though more, us included, were laughing our areses off, old electric Howie especially lol
Definitely one of those under the radar and sorta lost in the years shows that listening now ya go, damn, “not too shabby” in a Adam Sandler voice lol
The R&C was nice, but if listen critically I can see why it wasn’t continued as a “Dead” song.
But another fine show from a solid tour!

I'm stoked for this set. I don't really know a lot of 85 GD. What I do know I really like, so this should be fun based on all the great post about the shows. The one show I do know is Hershey 6/28/85. One of my early GD tape collecting mentors, Gary, Hershey 85 was a BIG favorite for him. I can still hear him telling me, song by song, why it was so great!

Gary unfortunately passed a couple years ago after some complications from a routine procedure...damn.....this one is for you, Gary!!
