... Needed a total brain 'cleanse', what with all the batbleep crazy stuff going on. This Other One > Comes A Time > Sugar Magnolia sure does it for me (not to mention the killer 3 song closing stretch that follows!).

Also, read Hunter's liner notes on the original CD release - so appropriate and right 'on point' at this moment in time.

Working my way through the new Lee Morgan - Complete Lighthouse release, and it sounds excellent. Got the CD box, packaging decent, not great. Next is DiP 18 (2.3-5.78) in prep for Dap 57, and it sounds good!
Thank you FB for the heads up on TTB. I immediately checked out the schedule and the venues are amazing. First went for Troutdale, OR but the McMenamins Lodge was sold out already, so pass. Discovered Missoula over our anniversary holy crap we love that town, been years, booked it, last one, sold out! Perfect timing brother

Thanks for the recommendation. I def like '79, both early and late. The download release era is sort of a blind spot for me cause I had lousy interwebs at the time and have never filled in that gap.

Took a break from the June 1976 box. Moved on to a podcast I hadn't heard of. If you Google 36 From the Vault you'll find it. It's different from the official Deadcast. Just a couple dudes talking about Dick's Picks. I don't agree with some of their opinions, and some facts aren't just exactly perfect, but that's OK. Just about done with the first episode, and I like how they gave some context as to what was happening in the world in 1973. Kinda cool that they mention the day before DiP 1, what with DaP 58 on the horizon.
