I edited that out. Came across my facebook feed and I could not find a second source. Crap, I hope it was fake news.

I should have been more careful, facebook is such a shithole.

    Long may you run, Neil.

((( and oh yeah, Jerry playing Hartford's Bach's Cantata BWV 147: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring at the end of TOO is something else)))

Raging Beast is correct. Those shows contain passages of Rocket Fuel GD. The Let It Grow's are phenomenal, worth the price of the box alone.

Edit: Deleted info on Neil, could not verify this, something sent to me in facebook. Sorry.

Jerry's minstrel runs ragged with this one. In a very good way. Punchy east coast licks rather than smooth Cali lines. But still so nicely always dropping back into those signature '81 grooves from the rest of the band. ETR indeed.

'67- spot listened to Allmen Joy Denver '67 last night. Crazedelic stuff. At some point I'll sit down with the whole thing (when I'm ready and can give it justice...).

Night #1, 3/12/71. The first show features a Done Somebody Wrong that rivals the official release! The Liz Reed that follows has that questionable tenor - it wasn't time yet. But You Don't Love Me smokes!!! The second show starts with three contenders for the official release, but it's Done Somebody Wrong that hits the note! The second half of the You Don't Love Me that follows a tenor marred Liz Reed features Duane's most famous note, Dickey killin' it and the famous "play all night" shout out. The following Whipping Post could have been used for the official release, but as we all know, the 2nd show from night #2 has the one. And then the first of two Hot 'Lantas. I love this stuff!!!
