I've got a wonderful 2003 CRV, outfitted for camping, with CD and cassette player and was listening to the Oakland Coliseum New Year's Eve show 12/31/87 today while driving, on cassette. Gotta love it!

Also, Madison Square Garden 3/9/81 on the app.

Then pulled up "Browse" on the app and went to the first entry from 11/3/65 and it was a tune called "Can't Come Down" which I have never heard before, played at such a pace it lit me right up and I pulled up the lyrics and sat there grinning like a Cheshire Cat--pure joy!

I'm discovering that the less I play Dave's, the more I enjoy them. All of them are the BOMB!!!!!...... Play them when I first get them, then put them away for a few years and forget about them then I come back to them. They all seem so fresh!!!!!!...... Been driving around in my 2004 Camry with a CD player and a cassette player and some 34% ganja........ just grabbing a Dave's off the shelf not knowing which one I've got (my fav is still the Thelma).......nothing finer than that.......try it, you'll love it !!!!..........#59 is incredible!!.

mention of the Des Moines show from the HCS box, which I pulled down from the shelf on random impulse last night. What wonders. The way the band was playing on that tour, it truly sounds as if the music is being created in real time, bar by bar, everybody listening and responding to everybody else. Grabbed the Iowa show just on the basis of song list, it did not disappoint.

speaking of 1993 - I don't think I've seen it mentioned here yet - the new JGB Live V23 will be 8-14-93 Shoreline (release date of 10/30). So so very close to my magic please release date of 8/7/93, 2 shows earlier at Seattle Memorial Coliseum which saw the debut of Lightning Bolt.

So, BITD I was a looper, a jock
