Just think if everyone of these repeats was a new, fresh, quality show.
And I sorta agree with Daverock: why couldn’t they give us the whole run, in both vinyl and cd. And if the focus is supposed to be better resolution, why almost zero Blu-ray audio disc…
(I’d add hi res DL, but they can’t seem to make that reliable) - JoeyMC
Joined:Currently listening to...I have been listening to most of Spring '77 from the beginning, I just listened to Dave's Picks 50, I noticed this time that the first couple minutes of Eyes is just beautifully played and the Estimated on 5/4 is quite nice.
Right now I have 3/17/93 from Enjoying The Ride going, then maybe I'll go to 5/5/77
I thought of Doc the other day when 3/14/71 was on the Today In Grateful Dead History facebook page, its a pretty good show.
I'm stoked for the new Jerry release coming out! and I'm glad I don't do vinyl because that's a decent chunk of change for that soundtrack... - 1stshow70878Joined:Derek playing Tiger at the beacon 3-13-26
Right off the auction block playing an opener of Statesboro Blues 55 years to the day of a famous ABB show where it was the opener. I'm glad the new owner sees the value and necessity of letting these collectible guitars not sit behind glass. They have a soul and need to be played.

Joined:I also see GD Movie Soundtrack is in the store area ...Why still have both the Sports Collection and Pantone colors on the top of the home page - as opposed to this ?? (Very odd)
.
Edit - Also, is this taking the place of a full-on box set this year? Price-wise, it looks like it ... Not that I do vinyl, currently, but the only real draw - off the top of my head - is the Plangent and possibly the remaster aspects > I have this on CD and have always thought parts of it could/should sound just a little bit 'better' ... Going to check out the info on that CD release to see if this truly represents a sonic upgrade (besides the vinyl aspect itself)
.
2nd Edit: There is no mention of Plangent on the CD version release - mastering was done by Norman ... So, it would appear (so far) that this is in fact a sonic upgrade on what was available.
.
If so, please make it available on CD at some point. It would be more cost-effective - plus, I'll bet there are a good number of others besides me who would also like to upgrade!
