I was driving back to Vegas from Elko where there is not a lot of cell phone coverage, so I was spared most of the game.
No current listening, but I did end the seven hour road trip with Santana 3.
Fun fact. Did you know that Nevada has the most mountain ranges in the contiguous United States?

HF, if I told ya all that went down…yeah, I outta write a book
we all know the tale of lil 15 year old HF at Watkins, but I don’t think we’re familiar with The Muscle Shoal Boys at they Bottom Line! Do tell sir…

Gary unfortunately never saw the GD at Ventura but did work Furthur 96 there, where we were set up outside by the beach…California dreaming!
And recall it was really small?
I can only imagine seeing the boys, especially in 85, with the fires etc.

Ron those guys weren’t just good, they were really fun/funny…remember a ping pong ball war in the dressing room one time, and tales of “phuffing” and other manic goofs/pranks on the road in their van. Always looked forward to working with them.
Makes me laugh just to remember them

Five Branch I think I kinda recall that weirdness, though that whole scene was pretty weird.
Thinking sweet, idyllic Vermont, might be kinda like Oxford…not so much. Thought the show was lame, but hearing all these years later it’s not THAT bad. Guessing the old set and setting again, weird fires and smoldering cauldrons lol, just a weird, muggy, overcrowded scene. Car overheated stuck in the traffic jam through town…

Last Dead has been 9 and 10th June 1973. And I think of the two I prefer the 9th. Much more on the money to my ears. The 10th sounds a bit like a practise session. Did today, anyway.
