it just doesnt get any better .. = )
I think im beginnging to realize something intriguing . may 1980 was a real good moment in this band s performing . One of my favorite DH s is # 345 . With solid moments from Barton Hall ( ithica NY ] on 5.7.1980 . And another high moment is the go to Nassau . Also from may 1980 . 5 / 15 & 16 . So GDH 611 is another proof of what a good month in Dead history it was . Great move DG . Terific work Gans ( underline terrific ] . p.s. Jerrys playn in Lasy L sounds much like P Frampton . It doesnt surprise me too much then that Frampton was - and could still be - a big admirer of Jerry s work Question : ¿ Are there any more Bear tapes that you remember - like DH 573 - in your DH back programs ? p.s.s. If any of the band members read this , id like to say hello and thank you for such great music during those 30 years . And your excellent proyects that you work throughout now . Thank you eternally The Estimated jam is WAAAY awesome . As MikeP says .. Brent ( along with the band ] elevate and elevate .. Hes gone ( w out words .. ] . My compliments dont stop = )

One of the best jams of the 79-81 era
A mighty fine example of how Brent lit a fire under their collective asses back then. This ranks right up there with the jam in 5/6/81 in my opinion. Thanks for posting this David!
