    Grateful Dead Hour no.104

    Week of September 17, 1990

By request, music from the spring of 1990. A really fine show from a really strong tour. We tapped the 3/22/90 "Scarlet-Fire" for the boxed set So Many Roads (1965-1995), and Blair Jackson grabbed the encore, "It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue" for a 2005 compilation titled Garcia Plays Dylan. So I wasn’t at all surprised when the whole concert was released in 2012 on the boxed set Spring 1990.

I contacted author Bob Franzosa recently to ask if his book Grateful Dead Folktales might still be available. He said he’d be happy to send a PDF for free to anyone who inquires.

    Enjoy!
