Somehow Austin has been overlooked for a loooonnggg time. Too long. I think the last time was a ratdog show in like 2001?? Ten years??? too DAMN LONG!!!iphilweird thank you. and you may correct me if I'm wrong. What I remember about that show (actually two things besides the excellence of the show itself) was running into bob and some gorgeous blond in the parking garage after the show.... like late night. And then a couple hours later, I was in jail for a roach which was found in the ashtray of a car we were TOWING!! Paid off the small town Texas judge the next morning and made on back to Arcata with the car a couple days later. good times for sure.

I saw Bob solo for a Seva benefit years ago... a great Blackbird is my best memory I hope I get a chance to see him again soon.

Bob, Jackie, and Chris played outside next to the St. Vrain River last night. The venue is small, intimate and relaxing as you can wade in the shallow current of the river and still see what's happening on stage. After Josh Ritter finished his set, the Weir Greene Robinson trio began their acoustic set with New Speedway Boogie.
