    Stills, Dark Star

Steven keeps that Lovelight moving in interesting ways.
Seems more comfortable than some "guests".

That '71 DS... Jeez! Big section of fast paced in there.
    Nice! Cheers

Week of August 1-7, 2022

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from a brief but very dynamic four year span in the Dead’s history, with music from 1969, 1971, and 1973.

Our first stop this week is the big Live/Dead sequence from Winterland on 10/25/69, with special guest Stephen Stills on the ending: Dark Star> St. Stephen > The Eleven > Turn On Your Lovelight.

Next is second set music from Keith’s second show with the Grateful Dead, on 10/21/71 in Detroit, where we have Truckin'; Ramble On Rose ; Mexicali Blues ; Dark Star > Me And Bobby McGee.

Lastly this week is the big second set jam from 10/23/73 in Bloomington, MN, a week after the release of Wake Of The Flood: Truckin'> Nobody's Fault But Mine Jam> The Other One > Drums > Jam > Weather Report Suite Prelude > Weather Report Suite Part 1 > Let It Grow.

Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
