Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1969, 1970, and 1982.
Our first stop is at Washington University in St. Louis on 4/17/69, where we have this classic early 1969 sequence of Dark Star>St. Stephen>Turn On Your Lovelight.
Next is an excellent sequence from 4/15/70 at Winterland, where we have Dancing In The Street, Turn On Your Lovelight > Not Fade Away> Turn On Your Lovelight.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 4/12/82 at Nassau Coliseum, where we have Man Smart (Woman Smarter) > Sugaree ; Estimated Prophet > Uncle John's Band.
