Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have a triple dose of Brent-era Grateful Dead music, from 1979, 1981, and 1989.
Our first selection this week is from the middle night of a great three night run at the Uptown Theatre in Chicago on 12/4/79, where we have the end of the show: Space> Not Fade Away> Stella Blue> Sugar Magnolia, US Blues.
Next up is the end of the first set from 12/6/81 at the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, IL, where we have Tennessee Jed > Looks Like Rain ; Jack-A-Roe > Beat It On Down The Line ; China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider.
Lastly this week is the end of the second set from 12/8/89, opening night of a three night run at Forum in Inglewood, CA, featuring I Will Take You Home>The Other One>Wharf Rat>Throwing Stones>Not Fade Away.
