Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week have Grateful Dead music from 1977, 1981, and 1984.
Our first stop this week is in Passaic, NJ, on 4/25/77, where we have the big second set jam of Terrapin Station > Playing In The Band> Drums > Wharf Rat > Playing In The Band, US Blues.
Next is the start of the second set from 5/2/81 in Philadelphia: Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain ; Estimated Prophet > Terrapin Station.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 4/27/84 in Providence where we have this unique sequence of Playing In The Band > China Doll > Space> High Time> Man Smart (Woman Smarter).

The '84s
Both this and the Jam-o-Week cut from 4-24-84 New Haven are top tier performance level. Great fun to have on the computer while I'm futzing around indoors on a 96 degree day. Just sittin' round the shanty and puttin' a good buzz on as the song says.
