Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1979, 1980, and 1989.
Our first stop is in Kansas City on 12/11/79, with a magnificent second set opening sequence of Shakedown Street > Samson And Delilah; Ship Of Fools ; Terrapin Station> Lost Sailor; Saint Of Circumstance > Jam.
Next up, from a year later on 12/13/80 in Long Beach, CA, we have the end of the show featuring Space> Not Fade Away> Black Peter> Sugar Magnolia, One More Saturday Night.
And lastly this week is the end of the show, and the final music the Dead ever played the LA Forum, on 12/10/89, where we have Space> The Wheel> I Need A Miracle> Stella Blue > Good Lovin', It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue.
