    Priceless

Bobby shows his stuff, Pig in good voice, Jerry playing pedal steel and Phil on backing vocals on LLR! Nice 1972 selection. I can think of a few other songs that the pedal steel could have benefited.
    Cheers

Week of December 12-18, 2022

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1972, 1973, and 1991, all from the great state of New York.

Our first selection this week is the Dead’s penultimate show of a week-long run at the Academy Of Music in New York City on 3/27/72, just before they left for Europe. From this fine show we have China Cat Sunflower> I Know You Rider; Me And Bobby McGee; Mr. Charlie ; Looks Like Rain; Deal; It Hurts Me Too; Cumberland Blues.

Next, from a year later in Rochester, NY, on 3/30/73, we have the second set jam featuring Truckin'> Jam> Space> Eyes Of The World> Not Fade Away > Goin' Down The Road Feeling Bad > One More Saturday Night.

Lastly this week, from 3/24/91 in Albany, we have the start of the second set, featuring Samson And Delilah ; China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider ; Looks Like Rain ; He's Gone.

Be sure to stop by next week for more music from the vault.
