    March 73: nice show
varied set list, played without rushing it all. as the GD should be. at least the 91 show has a playin' reprise out of ThSt.

TOTALLY unrelated to the GD, but...
my review of the new Star Wars movie can be summed up in the immortal words of Robert Hunter: "I been there before, been there before." Hmph.

Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we wrap up 2015 and enter 2016 with some Grateful Dead music from 1973, 1982 and 1991.

Our first stop this week is in Baltimore on 3/26/73, where the Dead played a very fine, and very long, show, which featured this excellent big second set jam: Truckin' > Weather Report Suite Prelude > Jam > Wharf Rat > Me And Bobby McGee > Eyes Of The World > Morning Dew.

Next is the start of the show from the tour-closing concert from Summer 1982, ith this good sequence from 8/10/82 in Iowa City: Feel Like A Stranger , Friend Of The Devil , New Minglewood Blues ,Tennessee Jed ,Cassidy.

Lastly this week we have the end of the show from 3/25/91 in Albany, NY, the second year in a row the Dead played a three night run at the new (opened in 1990) Knickerbocker Arena in downtown Albany: Space > The Other One >Black Peter >Throwing Stones>Playing In The Band Reprise, Lovelight.

Be sure to join us next week for more tunes from the vault. Happy New Year, everyone.

David Lemieux

Hey there, just curious if anyone knows how to get the old Taper's Section links to stream? Came across this old Taper's Section - http://www.dead.net/features/tapers-section/september-17-september-23-2… would really like to hear the Clementine Jam from 9-21-1968 and since it doesn't circulate anywhere else I thought I'd check here? If not David Lemieux, any chance you could play this again as well as the other Jam from the session that you mention? I for one, would really like to hear this jam! Thanks everyone and Happy New Year:)

The ones that are formatted that way are known to have been causing problems. I, too would be interested in having these restored or to be made aware of some type of workaround, like there is for some of the other unplayable selections. Thanks and Happy New Year everyone.
