Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where we say goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026 this week. We have some great Grateful Dead music from 1972, 1973, and 1979.
We’ll start the week with a great jam from 11/22/72 in Austin, where we have He’s Gone>Truckin'>Drums>The Other One>Stella Blue.
Next is some great first set music from11/25/73 in Tempe, AZ, where we have Promised Land ; Sugaree; Beat It On Down The Line; Don't Ease Me In; Black Throated Wind; Tennessee Jed; Mexicali Blues; China Cat Sunflower> I Know You Rider.
Lastly this week have music from 11/25/79 at UCLA, with this excellent sequence of Shakedown Street > Bertha; Looks Like Rain; He's Gone > The Other One.
