Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we wrap up July with Grateful Dead music from 1983, 1984, and 1994.
Our first stop this week is on 10/21/83 in Worcester, MA, where we have this second set opening sequence of Scarlet Begonias > Fire On The Mountain ; Uncle John's Band > Playing In The Band.
Next is another second set opener, this one from a year later on 10/14/84 in Hartford, CT, where we have this excellent, long sequence of China Cat Sunflower> I Know You Rider> Samson And Delilah ; High Time; Estimated Prophet> Eyes Of The World > Space.
Lastly this week is the entire first set from 10/15/94 at Madison Square Garden, the Dead’s final run at MSG, where we have Shakedown Street; Little Red Rooster; Stagger Lee ; Black Throated Wind; Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues ; Candyman; Easy Answers, Deal.
