Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1972, 1973, and 1987.
Our first stop this week is on 9/10/72 in Hollywood, where we have Bertha; Greatest Story Ever Told; Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo; Black Throated Wind; Bird Song.
Next up is music from 9/12/73 at College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, where have this excellent second set sequence of Weather Report Suite, Around And Around ; Eyes Of The World > Stella Blue.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 9/15/87, opening night of the Dead’s five night run at Madison Square Garden, where we have China Cat Sunflower> I Know You Rider; Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World.
