    One other time
Eyes out of Stella was performed 1 other time: at the big event on 7/28/73. Wildest place I ever went to and experienced, more so than Boulder on 9/3/72 with the grungy STP people and the wonderful Rainbow family of kind-hearted folks. St. Louis on 10/30/73 seems a bit laid back.

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1973, 1984 and 1985.

Our first selection this week is the big second set jam from 10/30/73, the second night of a two night run in St. Louis toward the end of the second leg of the Fall Tour of 1973, a show that took please just two weeks after the release of Wake Of The Flood, and featured much of the new material: Dark Star > Stella Blue > Eyes Of The World > Weather Report Suite Prelude > Weather Report Suite Part 1 > Let It Grow.

From the start of the second set of the final night of a six night run at the Berkeley Community Theatre on 11/3/84, we have this very interesting and exciting sequence of music: Feel Like A Stranger> Cumberland Blues ; Gloria > Jam > Why Don't We Do It In The Road > Space.

Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 11/2/85 in Richmond, VA, the second night of a great two night run during the excellent Fall Tour of 1985, which featured plenty of great music. From Richmond, we have Iko Iko ; Estimated Prophet > Uncle John's Band > China Doll.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check us out next week for more music from the vault.

I wanna hear 11/2/84 as well. I know I can archive it, but to be able to crank that on a road trip or commute.
