Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have a triple dose of 1980s Grateful Dead.
Our first selection is the start of the second set from the Dead’s 8/8/82 show at Alpine, where we have Far From Me ; Scarlet Begonias> Fire On The Mountain, including a rare Brent Mydland second set opener.
Next up is the entire first set from the Dead’s 8/11/87 show at Red Rocks, opening night of a three night run that would be their last trip to Red Rocks, where we have Cold Rain And Snow; Little Red Rooster; Tons Of Steel; High Time; When I Paint My Masterpiece ; When Push Comes To Shove; Let It Grow.
Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 8/6/89 a Cal Expo in Sacramento, CA, where we have Scarlet Begonias> Fire On The Mountain; Samson And Delilah, Ship Of Fools; Man Smart (Woman Smarter).
