Week of October 17-23, 2022
Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have a double dose of 1969 Grateful Dead music, and a jam from the summer of 1973.
Our first selection is from 1/17/69 in Santa Barbara, where we have standout tracks from the Dead’s second and third studio albums, featuring Cryptical Envelopment>The Other One> Cryptical Envelopment> Cosmic Charlie.
Next is the tail end of the Live/Dead suite, from 7/7/69 in Atlanta, where we have St. Stephen> The Eleven> Turn On Your Love Light. This is from a cassette master recorded by Bear.
Lastly this week, we have the big second set jam from 7/1/73 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, where we have Truckin'> Drums> The Other One> Wharf Rat> Me And Bobby McGee.
Be sure to stop by next week for more music from the vault.

That TOO takes some cool jazzy twists and turns.
Worth the price of admission.
Needs a >SPACE added after TOO.
And spacey it was.
