Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this we have Grateful Dead music from 1978, 1984, and 1989, including some spooky Halloween tunes from 1984.
Our first stop this week is music from 2/1/78 at the Uptown in Chicago, the final night of the Dead’s first run there, featuring Jam> The Other One> Wharf Rat > Sugar Magnolia.
Our next music is from Halloween 1984 at the Berkeley Community Theatre in Berkeley, CA, the fourth show of a six night run, featuring Touch Of Grey > Samson And Delilah ; Ship Of Fools ; I Need A Miracle > I Ain't Superstitious > He's Gone.
Lastly this week is the entire first set from 2/6/89 at the Kaiser in Oakland, where we have Beer Barrell Polka > Not Fade Away ; Sugaree > Wang Dang Doodle ; Jack-A-Roe ; Queen Jane Approximately ; Brown Eyed Women ; Cassidy ; Tennessee Jed.
