Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1971, 1979, and 1980.
Our first stop this week is on opening night of a four night run at the Felt Forum in New York City on 12/4/71, where we have Truckin'; Sugaree ; Mr. Charlie; Beat It On Down The Line; Tennessee Jed; Jack Straw; Run Rudolph Run.
Next is the excellent start of the second set on 11/29/79 in Cleveland, where we have Shakedown Street> Samson And Delilah ; High Time; Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World> Space.
Lastly we have the end of the second set from 11/26/80 in Pembroke Pines, FL, where we have Space > Wharf Rat> Around And Around> Good Lovin', Satisfaction, which includes the Dead’s first performance if Satisfaction.
