I saw videos of protesters in Tulsa Fucking Oklahoma that outnumbered his stupid parade.

My wife, who reads way more (on Substack, NYT, etc.) than I, indicates some social science researcher(s?) looked globally for historical examples of 'regimes' or 'administrations' that persisted following street protests / demonstrations amounting to 3.5 percent or more of the population - and could not find one.

The 11 million estimate comes pretty damn close to that figure. Re: the number of locations 'in action' yesterday, it only takes 5 to 6,000 per assembly to reach 11 million. Where I was, the percentage vs. the local population was closer to double that! And that does not count any of those who drove by with signs or honked in support.

The wife went locally to represent us and came back invigorated. Had well over 1000 (local paper said 2500 but...) in little old Montrose (about 20K pop.).
