Dancing Bear Screen Saver

If anyone out there want's a free Dancing Bear Screen Saver, please let me know. Send me a private message on this site... and please include a valid email address in the PM. I'll email a zip file with an old (but still working version) of Dancing Bears screensaver. It was created back in 1999, but works on Win95/Win98/WinME/2k/XP. Skull & Roses T-Shirt

I am looking for a replica (or close to it) of my favorite T-shirt. Centered is a "Skull & Roses" from the clavicle up, surrounded by "Grateful Dead" in American Beauty font. I need a size 2 -3 XL. The color of the shirt is not important. My shirt (circa '79 or '80) is thread bare and was a size medium. Time has taken it's toll on both the shirt as well as my size. I'm in search of help....as deadheads we need to help our good friend TigerLilly. She's been here for years and is desperate need of a laptop computer. Why? Not because she is a non-hardworking mother....BECAUSE, she is in peril and needs our help. I'm not asking you as a Deadhead or a member of Dead.net....I'm asking you as a brother and a sister. Steal Your Face Logo

What's the whole licensing issue on using the logo? Over the years I have seen folks change it up hundreds of times for shirts and such. What if I want to make my own customized and give them away? Anyone have experience on that?

I suggest you go over to the Tapers section of the forums, specifically the Vindex, and see if those shows are being vined. (Vining: one person sends the show to the next, who copies it and sends the original to the next person, ad infinitem). The albums Reckoning and Dead Set contain portions of the Radio City shows, but I don't think the full show was ever commercially released, so the trading section may be your best bet. I defer to the more enlightened on the other shows, but I believer the Cornell one is one of the classics and widely traded, as I used to drive around listening to it a lot myself in my commuting days.

GRATEFUL DEAD MOVIE SOUNDTRACK

To all "Cosmic Charlies" out there. An act of sacrilidge has occurred and your help is needed. Recently a "ungratefully alive " friend acquired the 5 cd set of the Grateful Dead Movie soundtrack. Imagine when getting it home it was minus cd 2. Chaos of the grey cells rained down upon me and sleepless nights have followed.Help please anybody got a copy or even on audio cassette. Would be very GRATEFUL

Big Beat Acid Test Recording 12-18-1965 (?)

A tape exists of this vintage show in Palo Alto: I used to own it. I can not find even a set list existing online. Hi Heeled Sneakers was played for sure... Taper's Compendium 2

Ahoy,Can anyone please help me find a copy in good shape of the Deadheads Taping Compendium no.2? Please let me know the price that you ask. If possible an estimate of the postage in the U.S. (if you happen to live there, off course). Otherwise the book has to be sent to The Netherlands, where I live. I already own no. 1, which I enjoy very much. The episodes of the early history of the band and of the acid tests are excellent. I also use the book to read about the shows that I have and the ones that can be downloaded from the internet. I borrowed no.2 from a friend but he does not want to part with it and copying the entire book is just too much. I also looked in 2nd hand bookshops but the Grateful Dead are not very popular here so I can't find a copy here. So if you want to part with a book that you have but don't use anymore you can do me a great favor. "Ship of Fools"

A band called pranava

I am looking for music by this band called Pranava. I was given a demo tape at a west coast dead show in the year of who knows when. It was mostly instrumental, but there were some words as well. I do remember a song called comes around here. The words were some thing like" it goes around again and up and down again and barely comes around here" or something like that. awesome instrumentals. I lost my mind a couple of times listening to that tape and then I lost the tape. Does it sound familiar to anyone? I would love to know.

no problem, this is close enough to the right topic! Are you in Portland? I lean to the theory that the next time Antiques Roadshow comes through town you should score a ticket and bring this thing. Then we'd ALL know! I think the dude with the aloha shirts and the ponytail (aha, here's his Web page: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/roadshow/series/appraisers/s-z/sohmers.html) would have a pretty good idea what the deal was. I used to know who the experts in SF were, but my knowledge is very out of date. You might want to email ol' ponytaildude about the thing and see what he says. Then come back and tell us!
