What a just exactly perfect 50th BD celebration for your lucky friends – sounds like they're now on the bus. And speaking of "bus", where's Geomeister? Anybody spot him at any of the shows? To everybody in Bristow, enjoy the ride tonight. Looks like it'll be cooling off by showtime and the rain will hold off til after midnight (but who'd notice anyway!) Onward!

    A good time was had by all, in spite of the lawn area being oversold by three-fold, in my opinion. And the brief summer shower, even as the horizon cleared for the sunset, came just as Bobby reached the crescendo on Looks Like Rain; perfectly timed. As a 50th birthday present we brought some friends to their first exposure of any kind to this world. They had a blast. And made so memorable for the incident of the friendly fellow who approached us early in the first set and asked if he could leave his Birkenstocks under our beach chairs. We then proceeded to share some of what he grows himself, and did not see him again until the end of intermission. He was OVERJOYED to find us and his sandals. Our friends now have an indelible impression of the nature of interactions between Heads. By now you will have heard of the continuing modifications to the treatments of the old song pairs: China and Rider as bookends to the set rather than a doublet: anything is possible. And what Mr. Mayer did with Deal was epic. EP-IC.

    Looks like just exactly perfect weather at Fenway tonight & tomorrow. Don't be late – don't want to miss getting blasted out of the ballpark! And, just curious, who's in the SSDDer contingent there? Onward y'all! BTW: Bit the bullet and got a brand new Oat Cart last week with mucho mas "After Midnight Oat-age". Just love that "new cart smell!"

    Great show, got an Easy Wind, Throwing Stones and a belated Flag Day Liberty. Highlight was Lil John doing his best David Lindley falsetto Stay imitation on The Wheel. Only gripe Pennsylvanias 5 0. For Chrissakes, you think El Chappo was in attendance. What a bunch of tools. ASL and Roadking, Enjoy Fenway kids! as an aside, a few weeks ago on another subform my concern that setlists have stagnated since 10/2015.... To quote Rosanne Rosanadana...."nevermind"

    Hey rgerrgelis et alii, Glad to hear the feared cloud of stagnation is lifting so more and more spontaneity can seep into Dead & CO '17. You could tell from the nugs tease last night that Burgettstown was going new places (I'd love to hear the whole show). And those Boulder shows were definitely high in the Rockies. Looks like a few clouds may keep temps down in Boston so y'all can better meld with the music. Onward Daydreamers!

Wets coming down, but its opening day here in Baltimore. 3:00pm EST start to the dismantling of the Pride of Canadian Baseball (shots fired!). So I'll be in the stands for first pitch with my phone tuned to KFOG for the hopefully big announcement.. TFONTS - How was the Jimmy & the Reefers? Looked like a pretty solid setlist.

Here yee....here yee (can I borrow that, Geo?) VOL. IVX; No. 1 email is in your morning in-boxes. Gotta say, the Palm Beach parrot heads and the parking scene lot at The Cruzan was on fire yesterday. Super fun show by our home town boy too. Hey, it's Dad's Weekend up at FSU this weekend so I'm jumping in the truck and making that six hour drive north to Tallahassee to hang with my kid, slam beers in his frat house, and really get an accurate picture of how my tuition dollars are being spent :-) Love you all ! I've got a hotel lined up for the late June Towering Waltons shows at Levi's Stadium--learned my lesson on accommodations. I just hope if something is announced it will be on the leaked weekend. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

I wonder if Jimmy still has that CA license plate. As I mentioned many moons ago, I'm gonna go with Caution Jam>Jack Straw. Why? Because it will give Trey a chance to find a groove with the others and if it is correct, it would be an excuse to buy a SuperDuperPowerBall lotto ticket. Those Midwesterners have the multi-millions lottery experience down pat. First thing I'd buy is a ticket for Klang to Sunday night's show. Hells yeah.

We miss him and can't seem to beat the Blues without him. He needs to heal faster. Don't have anything but supernatural fixes for the Jerry void...unfortunately. And time does't seem to heal the wound.
