Not impressed with Picture Disc sound Quality

Just a word of warning, this is a GREAT collector's piece, but honestly, that's all it is IMHO. I purchased both WMD and Aoxomoxoa 50th anniversary picture LPs, and have never had so many pops and clicks right out of the wrapper.... and yes, I'm a vinylphile and am aware that picture discs have lower quality than standard vinyl as the grooves are pressed on to a thin clear layer.

Cleaned them with anti-static fluid and a brush before playing, and pops and clicks galore. Granted, it does sound more "authentic" that way to my ears, but in comparison, I have an original Warner Bros pressing of WMD, and it sounds fantastic, better than the CD, and it's 50 years old.

    Yup, its Vinyl

I'd say go for the color one if you want something more limited. There's 10,000 of these and 2,000 of the colored wax. But buy what ya like.

Is this this really a vinyl

May be a stupid question but is this really a vinyl disc? Stuck on if I should order this or the color vinyl.
