    I was there
This was a super show. It was the 3rd time I saw the dead, but the first time I saw them having heard everything they'd released up to that point. I was living at this music school on Jackson St. about a mile north and I went to the show the next night, too. No, the people who ran the music school didn't condone going to rock concerts. Oh, well. I got in line at 7AM with a loaf of raisin bread and a 6 pack of beer. It was raining pretty much all day. Not a problem. There were already about 30 people in line when I got there. At noon or so it stopped raining so some of us played catch with a football right in the street. One of the other guys in line I recognized when I saw the line scenes in the Grateful Dead movie. They let us in at 4PM; they started playing at 7:30. I was 2nd person back right between Jerry and Bob. At one point someone threw a rose at Bob. It got stuck between his fingers and the guitar while he switched chords. He didn't even notice it for a few seconds; didn't affect the sound. After the first encore they took awhile (10-15 minutes) before coming back on. We kept making noise and they did Casey Jones, repeating the chorus what seemed like 12 times or so. Normally I would have wanted to crash after consuming as much 'substance' as I did all day and night, but I felt so high just from the experience that I went home and stayed up until 3AM practicing piano at the school. Next day I didn't get in line until 4:30 PM.

Yes this is the one 11/10/1973
Yes this is my first show but it is still a blur.... it was either the 10th or the 11 I'm thinking 10th since mom's birthday was the 11th. I stayed at a friend's at the Rambo Crew on El Pintado Rd and went with him and his brothers to see the DEAD. What my parents will never know, oh sweet 16. Playing/Uncle Johns Band/Dew Jam can't wait..... Oh yeah, they keep calling my name 'Barry, Barry' "oh no echoing " thru the halls it's 'Jerry! Jerry!' The Bear 2 Yes, it was the 11/10/1973, check in on the reality of it all.

So I had a tape and I am almost certain it was this show- I loved it, I searched this show based on the amazing playin>ujb>dew.uj>playin but how can I be certain before I buy the cd that this is the show? I can no longer go to archive.org because anytime a show becomes a release, they take it off (fair enough) but I dont see on dead net where I can have a listen, nor on itunes. Any suggestions?

Wow.Great post. I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real hard work to make a great article… but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though.I'm common rail come from sensor .
