This show wasn't announced to the public until 24-48 hours before showtime. A very overcast day, with one tiny patch of blue sky, in which the sun appeared and illuminated the bottoms of the clouds just as the band started "China Cat Sunflower." Between sets a stripper made her way to the stage and entertained the audience by balancing cigarettes on her nipples.

Played in Culperepr VA at a bluegrass festival a day or two before/after this gig - we saw Earl Scruggs & lots of other bands there. Was a cool gig - there was a lake and people jumping in.

All that's left to do This was my first show so a really sweet memory. The show started quire late because of techno problems but was worth the wait. funny though I don't remember the stripper thing. It was also really cold for DC in September

    Cold rain and snow
