    Cuttin' it close

just under the wire, in the nick of time, in the eleventh hour, Casey at the plate in. the bottom of the ninth. I went one way on the timeline, and would have saved myself time heading in the opposite direction, but then I would not have found some of the nuggets hidden in those jams, such as the previously unbeknownst to me G-L-O-R-I-A themed romps not from the Melk Weg or Berkeley shows. Thanks Dave. Batting a thousand so far.

    Pure beauty on this ride!

This is just one nice 16 minute ride-and the jam at the end is just pure beauty! reminds why after getting on the bus all those years ago I never got off! Thanks Dave!

Awesome! This one's from my friend's birthday.

Only tripped on the 2 venues so far. Anyone else tripping on those?

All good. Enjoying the early Brent!!

9 miles skidding on a 10 mile ride....
Cats on a tin roof, dogs in a pile
Nothing left to do but smile smile smile

So much fun. Never know if its gonna take hours or a few minutes. So many he's gone!

Has nothing to do with today's pick but at least now I get to look forward to yet another show that the 30 Days search has turned me onto. Always love Brent's harmonizing in He's Gone but Donna tore it up for the Shrine in '76.

Interesting year as a few things took place. First of all, the show to me was su-perb. You get a late Phil BOMB this time. Along with a very unique play of a song in that first set. Noticing he fits so perfectly! Ha I get one of my Favorite COWBOY songs. Unfortunately, back-to-back nights with one missing the show one being a show in my town. Just under a hand full of FIRST this year as well. A couple days later a BIRTHDAY was celebrated. So last night 11-10-2023, I attend a Grateful Dead cover Band at an outdoor venue here in Sarasota, Fl. What do they end the show with "talking about Mr. Hart stealing the bands money and right into HE"S GONE".... How ironic is that.

Nice. Hadn't revisited my first show in a long time, so really nice to hear this.
Lotsa feedback in there.

And smile I did when I found this one on the second version I checked.
Those are some seriously long skid marks in this one, tires must have gotten caught on a limb.
Good luck all.

Such an inspiring selection today! Another concert new to me - kinda standard playlist but with some twists. Nice that Dave gave us a bit of the talking drums at the end of this absorbing, laid back He's Gone, but y'all gotta check out the rest of the set as the groove continues throughout; aside from the sometimes jarring spacey belches it's a wonderful slow burn.

Just like the early blooms before they've blossomed. Twice this year the development of this band members helped me zero in the search as later on they really blossomed and gained their voice,

WowZa! I can't begin to tell you how many awesome extended "He's Gone" jams I've sampled today! Some are just as good as today's pick, just all are different in some way. All the "He's Gone" song and jams that are over 13-14 minutes long (some 18-20ish) that segue into Drums~Space are worth a 30 Dead Days for Daze!

and Wonderful. I actually enjoyed sorting through 8 years of He's Gone. It really took me places today. Fortunately I figured out the correct source before my train ran out of track.
