I cannot wait for my set to come.
I hope we get so shows up here in the Northwest this year
in July or August when it's not raining.
423 shows and counting.
The Bus came by and I got on a Long strange time ago
What music to my ears....Thank you Deadnet for all the E72 details and blast from the past...Going to enjoy this, just like I was on the bus over there!!
After all the kerfluffle about the box set and my throwing shoes at Rhino saying, "I will not buy!!!", I think I've calmed down. These nugs you're sharing are wonderful, and maybe I can find $450 worth of yard sale crap around here somewhere. ROR was always a fave of mine, and hearing the band swagger through this wonderful tune, thinking of how young they were, makes me feel young again. This isn't nostalgia, this is that X factor stuff. We were blessed to live in such times. Thank you for sharing.
Hi, just wondering why the colors are reversed - I'm so used to seeing red/bolt/blue, that this looks weird - not bad, just a little 'off'....
Maybe it's just yet another attempt to keep us Heads on our Toes?!?!?!
Thanks for the classic stuff - sounds wonderful :)
Interesting that the setlist posted here differs from both AUDs on LMA. The setlist here has a Me & My Uncle after Chinatown Shuffle. The LMA sources have Casey Jones ending the first set.
Well perhaps the logo inversion is a way of saying welcome to Wonderland/go Through the Looking glass. This isn't the first time the Dead have played with mirrors, take the "Ugly Rumors" sub heading on the Mars Hotel album or the album title Aoxomoxoa. Furthurmore when I saw Furthur in LA over the course of the night they played the entire Anthem of the Sun starting with the B side and then going through the A side in reverse order.
This is wonderful, like OtherJuan said, they're swaggering.....bouncing. And loving the organ!
The Dead 72 tour obviously a must, I was ten years old sitting on my Dad's shoulders so don't remember much of it
Here's the thing, my girlfriend has become paralyzed with rheumatoid arthritis so I can't work now as I'm now a full time carer. Money is very scairse so will have too save up. Can any one let me know what the cost is in English money. Thanks
