Grateful Dead, Folsom Field, U. of Colorado, Boulder, CO
It's a bit hard to remember since that whole era was somewhat of a blurr.
But I've gotten it narrowed down and I think this must be the one. It started raining; the Band left and it was really pouring down for about 20 minutes; it made mud on the field. We were in the upper section but when people started leaving we moved down closer. Then the Band came back, played Casey Jones, and the rain stopped and THE SUN CAME OUT! I was forever convinced of their undying power.
Anyone else remember things this way? :)
As a matter of fact, I may the shooter of this photo: I have several more similar to it. They are all on color slides, so I need to figure out how to move them into a digital format. Do you recall the storm and the goodies tossed out by the Rainbow Family, or the crude behavior displayed by the STP people? Truly a memorable show, my first, with Jeff and Pete, all 3 of us from Ohio. Too bad a killer recording isn't available.
