Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we'll tune in to a double dose of Grateful Dead music from the Spring Tour of 1978, with a bit of 1984 mixed in.
Our first stop this week is on 4/19/78 in Columbus, OH, where we have the start of the second set, featuring Samson And Delilah, It Must Have Been The Roses, Estimated Prophet > He's Gone>Rhythm Devils. It was at this show where the Dead would debut Werewolves of London at the end of the show.
From the next show, on 4/21/78 in Lexington, KY, we have the end of the show, including the second straight performance of the aforementioned Warren Zevon song as the first encore. From Lexington, we have Rhythm Devils> Jam > Stella Blue, Truckin' > Playing In The Band, Werewolves Of London, U.S. Blues.
Lastly this week, from the end of the show on 4/14/84 in Hampton, VA, we have Morning Dew > Throwing Stones > One More Saturday Night, It's All Over Now, Baby Blue.
